We are putting together a team to participate in a bike-a-thon to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The MS 150 Bike Tour is a two-day cycling event that raises money and promotes local programs and national research. This is a 150 mile ride (with many pit stops) that will take place September 16-17,2006. We are the Young Generation, so what’s a mere 150 miles? Check out this link for more info. Family & friends are more than welcome to participate, so spread the word!
If interested, contact Nick Mohr. More detailed information will be distributed to interested parties.
The Carolina YGN Chapter will begin our mentoring program, entitled Bridge the Divide by the begining of July. Bridge the Divide provides the opportunity for managers to work closely with Carolina YGN members. Each mentee will be paired up with a mentor from a different site. This program will help close the generational gap by developing a mentoring culture that supports knowledge sharing, leadership, and professional development. The mentors and mentees will meet a minumum of once every other month. This is a great opportunity for Carolina YGN members!
For more info and to download an application see the Mentoring Program page.
