DOE GNEP Event in North Augusta

The Department of Energy is holding a series of Public Comment Workshops on the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership. The only one occurring in the Carolinas is Thursday, Feb. 15 in Augusta, NC from 6:00-9:30 pm. This is a great opportunity for PI members to promote nuclear power! Please contact Sarah Chisholm if you plan on attending so that we can orchestrate a game-plan going into the workshop.

The format is to break those in attendance into small workshops each headed by a DOE representative. Comments during the meeting will be considered in preparing the GNEP Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement. More information here.
