2007 NA-YGN Annual Professional Develpment Workshop
Published by November 28th, 2007 in Professional Development.Carolina NA-YGN recently sent a member to the 2007 American Nuclear Society Winter Conference. For this conference, “Making the Renaissance Real”, nuclear professionals from around the country met (November 11th-17th) in Washington, D.C. Lectures hinged upon the theme of the current revival of interest in nuclear power as the cleanest, most cost effective answer to our nation’s energy needs. In the run-up to the week’s events, the ANS YMG (Young Members Group) partnered with NA-YGN to present the Young Professionals Congress, a series of lectures examining many of the challenges of today’s nuclear industry with a particular focus on the young professionals’ roles and the opportunities they are likely to have over the course of their careers.
