FACTS AND INFO
The Past
- The Carolina NA-YGN members have assisted pro-nuclear rallies by making posters
- Officers and site reps have been elected
- All three sites have had kick-off meetings and socials to encourage membership and provide a social opportunity for the Young Generation Nuclear.
- Eight members attended the Annual NA-YGN Professional Development Meeting in Washington, DC in 2006
- Two members attended the ANS Winter Meeting in DC and worked at the NA-YGN booth there promoting the Nuclear agenda
- Co-Sponsored Reception for NRC Commissioner Jeffery Merrifield
The Present
- Carolina NA-YGN currently has over 100 members
- The Professional Development and Public Information Committees are active
- The Coaching Program has been kicked off
